West Catholic Admissions

An application for admission to West Catholic High School can be obtained by clicking here or by calling the Director or Assistant Director of Admissions, at (215) 386-2244 ext 241. All students requesting admission to West Catholic High School must complete a West Catholic Application and return it with the $20.00 non-refundable Application Fee to West Catholic High School prior to the administration of the Admissions and Scholarship Test.

Parochial School Students

You must ask your eighth grade teacher or principal to send your Preliminary Placement Card to West Catholic High School. This card contains your seventh grade final marks, and first semester grades of the 8th grade.

Public School Students

You must ask your counselor or eighth grade teacher to send to West Catholic a copy of your seventh grade final marks, first semester marks from the eighth grade, current immuniztion records and your most recent standardized test scores.

Transfer Students

Students currently in the 9th, 10th, or 11th grade who are interested in transferring to West Catholic are asked to complete the West Catholic application. The application and non-refundable $20.00 application fee should be mailed to West Catholic High School. A transcript of marks, current immunization records and most recent standardized tests scores must be sent to West Catholic from the student's current school. Upon receiving the application and transcript of records, the Principal will schedule an interview with the applicant and his/her parents at a mutually agreeable time.

Admissions/Scholarship Test

All students requesting admission to the ninth grade must take the West Catholic Admissions and Scholarship Test on Saturday, November 21 and Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 9:00 AM at the school. Students must have a completed West Catholic Application on file in the Admissions Office to take the examination. Students must have two #2 pencils for the examination that lasts three hours.

Letters of Acceptance

After a review of marks and the results of the Admission/Scholarship Test, Letters of Acceptance or Rejection will be mailed at the end of February to any student who completed a West Catholic Application, forwarded marks, and took the West Catholic Admissions and Scholarship Test (if applicable). Scholarship winners will also be announced at this time. Registration will at West Catholic High School. Parents must complete the registration forms on site and submit a non-refundable $75.00 Registration Fee to secure a spot for September 2010 (If registering after April 15, 2010, or if the student is not currently attending a Catholic grade school, the registration fee is $125.00).
